I write fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. I have been a feature contributor to several newspapers and was a feature editor/author for Coastal Woman, a Santa Barbara publication.
My work has appeared in several issues of Bear River Review, and I have read my short fiction on Milwaukee Public Radio (Lake Effects, 2011; audio at https://www.normabishop.net/interviews). My poetry appeared in the anthology Strange Fruit: Poems on the Death Penalty.
I create small, handbound books of my poetry and art in watercolor and mixed media and have made several of these with personal content for individuals' special occasions.
